Margot sat on the edge of her meticulously made bed, her eyes fixed on the bedroom door as it slowly creaked open. Her heart drummed in her chest, each beat louder than the last. She had heard tales of superheroes and seen them on the news, but now, one stood on the threshold of her reality. Lucie, now 18 years old but bearing an air of newfound authority, entered the room. The gleaming emblem of Supergirl emblazoned on her chest seemed to shimmer with the power that now coursed through her veins. The costume clung to her form in a way that accentuated her newfound strength and grace. She was an embodiment of youth, potential, and limitless possibilities. Margot couldn’t help but stare, her mouth slightly agape. Her sister, once so familiar, now appeared otherworldly. She felt a pang of envy mixed with awe. “Lucie,” she finally managed to say, “you look… incredible.” Margot’s admiring gaze was met with a hint of playful shyness as Lucie took a small step closer.
